Highways and Heavy Civils

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join a leading civil engineering contractor delivering highways and infrastructure schemes across Suffolk and Essex.
 
 
Key Responsibilities
·As a Project Manager, oversee site teams, operatives and subcontractors on road and highway schemes
·Prepare method statements, risk assessments and project management plans
·Understand tender allowances, monitor costs and deliver projects within agreed budgets
·Manage programmes of work, design coordination, subcontractor engagement and client relationships
·As a Project Manager, ensure contracts are delivered on time, safely and profitably
·Mentor and support junior staff to develop their careers
·As a Project Manager, maintain strong client relationships and represent the business professionally
 
Skills & Experience
·Previous experience as a Project Manager with a main contractor, specifically on highways/roads projects
·Strong leadership, communication and team management skills
·Relevant qualifications (HND/HNC/BEng or equivalent), SMSTS, CSCS and ideally Temporary Works Coordinator
·First Aid at Work and knowledge of NEC contracts are desirable
·The Project Manager must be eligible to work in the UK
