This medium-sized organisation is known for its focus on providing tailored solutions to its clients, ensuring excellence in service delivery across its departments.DescriptionThe Senior Corporate Tax Manager will support the Tax Partner manage the corporate tax compliance function for the London and Guildford offices. They will oversee the work ensuring deadlines are being met, appropriate budgets are set and billing on those clients. Supporting the junior members of the team through coaching and mentoring, as well as managing their training requirements in line with the qualifications they are working towards. They will provide advisory and consultancy support on a broad range of ad hoc projects to the Tax Partner and other Partners. The role will be approximately 80% compliance and 20% advisory work.ProfileCTA qualified or ACCA/ACA qualified plus relevant experienceSignificant experience in a corporate tax role within a professional practiceExperience of working in an accountancy practiceExperience of managing a large client compliance portfolioExperience of dealing with detailed HMRC enquiriesDemonstrates ''expert level'' of understanding of own technical/professional functionExperience of working on long term client relationships and of working on a fee basis with clientsExperience of managing peopleHighly proficient in computer software - the firm uses CCH and Alphatax; training will be given as requiredJob OfferCompetitive salary in the range of £75,000 to £90,000 per annum.Opportunity to work in London with a reputable business services firm.Exposure to diverse and challenging tax projects.Support for professional development and career growth.Inclusive and supportive workplace culture.Can be mostly based from home.
