Job title: Audit Business Partner Work Location: London Department: Internal Audit Our client, an oil and gas operator, is currently hiring an Audit Business Partner to join the team on a contract basis. Purpose of Role: • Responsible for delivery of targeted Internal Audit activities, under the direction of the relevant Global Internal Audit Manager. Activities will provide assurance to the Audit and Risk Committee and Leadership Team that key risks to the company are identified and managed in line with risk appetite, and that mitigating controls are both designed and operated effectively • Will play a key role in embedding effective internal audit practices as part of in-housing audit delivery capability Critical Responsibilities: • Ensuring that all activities are carried out in a safe manner complying with all regulatory requirements, legislation and HSES Procedures Ethics and Compliance Responsibilities: • Ensure that all activities and behaviours are carried out in accordance with Ethics and Compliance Policies and Procedures, and to complete any compulsory compliance training as required Areas of Accountability, Responsibility and Competence: What we expect • Vision: Support development and implementation of IA team vision and action plan to continue to mature inhouse risk and controls capability • People: Contribute to the ongoing development of a core IA capability through coaching fellow IA team members as requested • Stakeholders: Own and develop ..... full job details .....
