Quantity Surveyor

360 Recruitment is currently assisting a specialist contractor in their search for a Quantity Surveyor.

This opportunity will be working on civil engineering & earthworks schemes across London and the Southeast.

Position: Quantity Surveyor

Location: Kent, with travel to sites as and when required

Salary: £50,000 - £65,000 (dependent on level of experience, projects worked on, etc)

Benefits: Car/allowance, lodge, subsistence, pension, etc.

About the role:

• Prepare and manage cost plans, budgets, and forecasts.
• Measurement and valuation of civils packages.
• Manage subcontractor accounts, variations, and valuations.
• Produce monthly valuations and commercial reports.
• Ensure compliance with contract terms and commercial best practice.
• Provide commercial support to the project management team.
• Risk and value-engineering assessments.

About you:

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor on civil engineering projects.
• Strong commercial and contractual knowledge.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Degree in Quantity Surveying/Commercial Management.
