Band 7 Pharmacist - Oncology (NHS Experience Required) – Location: Southend-On-Sea, Essex. Contract: Locum. Rate: £312 per day. Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00-17:30. Start ASAP. Duration: Three months initially, with view to extend.About the Role

As a key member of our oncology pharmacy team, you will:Provide expert clinical pharmacy input to oncology and haematology services.Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to optimise patient outcomes.Support the safe prescribing, preparation, and administration of systemic anti-cancer therapies (SACT).Lead on clinical governance, audits, and service improvement initiatives within oncology.Act as a mentor for junior pharmacists and contribute to staff development.About You

We are seeking a pharmacist who can hit the ground running in a busy oncology setting. You must have:NHS oncology pharmacy experienceProven experience with ChemoCare prescribing systemCompleted SACT Passport (mandatory)Strong clinical knowledge of systemic anti-cancer therapiesExcellent communication, organisational, and leadership skillsGPHC RegistrationInterested?
