Our team is responsible for providing consistent, high performing, stable infrastructure for trading desks, developers, and our other internal customers. If you have a strong belief in automation, consistency, scalability, and simple design, you’ll be right at home.What you’ll be working on:Collaborating with a global Linux Engineering team for coordinating work, engineering projects, changes, and on-call schedulesServing as a liaison between the Linux Engineering team and trading desks and teamsConfiguring, deploying and maintaining DRW’s Linux environments in a declarative and repeatable manner using AnsibleActively monitoring the health of our entire Linux server environment using Prometheus; performing day to day troubleshootingApplication packaging and maintenance of software repositoriesEvaluating and recommending new hardware and software technologies or solutionsYou will be an ideal member of the team if you have:Experience working with configuration management tools, ideally Ansible (or Puppet, Chef, SaltStack)Scripting and automation experience with one or more of the following: Bash, Python, or another high-level programming languageHighly adept at debugging and troubleshootingusing command line tools (e.g. ss, iostat, dig, ethtool)Extensive Linux support and engineering experience in a high availability environment (RedHat/Debian-based, or similar variants)Strong communication and documentation skillsExcellent grasp of IP networking fundamentals, protocols and servicesExperience with monitoring/alerting with Prometheus/AlertManager/PagerDutyFor more information about DRW''s processing activities and our use of job applicants'' data, please view our Privacy Notice at https://drw.com/privacy-notice .
