The candidate for this role should be an experienced HGV Trailer Fitter with a good knowledge of various types of trailers. Working in a growing business within a larger team of skilled fitters, the successful candidate will benefit from a generous starting salary and other staff benefits.Typical Duties of a Trailer Fitter include, but are not limited to:- Performing general servicing and inspections on a variety of trailers- Preparing trailers for PSV Testing- Carrying Out Brake Testing on all Trailers- Ensuring all repairs are carried out according to the garage procedures- Adhering to all Company Health and Safety criteria- Liaising with the team on work progress and any problems or delays that may occur- Ensuring relevant paperwork is completedAttributes we are looking for:- Proven Mechanical/ Technical Experience in trailer repair and maintenance- Strong Knowledge of HGV trailers- Professional approach to work- Consistent high standard of work- Full Clean driving Licence- HGV Licence desirable but not essential Benefits: Very Competitive Salary Package Dependent on Experience Overtime Paid at 1.5 (paid after 40 hours) Holidays starting at 30 Days per Year Bupa Private Medical Health Insurance Provided ..... full job details .....
