A well-established and expanding manufacturing business in Birmingham is seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to strengthen its maintenance team. In this role, you''ll be responsible for maintaining a wide range of machinery across multiple sites, ensuring high levels of reliability, minimising downtime, and supporting ongoing engineering improvements. Key Responsibilities Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) activities in accordance with engineering standards and manufacturer guidance.Diagnose faults, implement permanent corrective actions, and support root-cause analysis to prevent reoccurrence.Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and refurbishments, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.Work alongside the Maintenance Manager on risk assessments, equipment condition monitoring, and long-term replacement planning.Ensure all maintenance work is delivered safely and complies with UK HandS legislation and internal company procedures.Use CMMS systems to record maintenance activities, plan tasks, and support asset-management processes.Review contractors'' RAMS, issue permits to work, and ensure all third-party engineering activities meet site requirements.
