Plater/Fabricator

Our client, a leading marine engineering company, is looking for Fabricators to join their team throughout 2025This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a long term refit project.Suitable candidates must be NVQ Level 3 or Apprenticeship qualified.Previous marine/ship repair experience would be ideal but experience from other heavy industries will be considered.Full SC Clearance is required and once approved you will be taken through the clearance process so you must be eligible for this. If you already hold full SC clearance, we will ask you to obtain confirmation from the UKSV and it can be transferred.Key Responsibilities:Perform fabrication duties, ensuring all tasks are completed to the highest standardsCollaborate with team members to ensure project objectives are metMaintain a safe and clean working environmentAdhere to all safety regulations and protocolsWork according to the project timelinesRole Requirements:Proven experience in heavy fabrication Able to work from engineering drawingsEligibility or possession of SC clearance is essentialExcellent attention to detail and precision in task executionStrong teamwork and communication skillsUnderstanding of safety regulations and best practicesFlexibility to work on various tasks within the project scopeRates and HoursUmbrella rates: 32.50/h Day Shift 40/h Back Shift 41/h Night Shift 44.50/h Sunday Back/Night Shift PAYE: 24.27 plus 2.93 Day Shift 29.87 plus 3.60 Back Shift 30.61 plus 3.69 Sunday and Weekday Night ..... full job details .....
