Project Scheduler

The opportunity
Our client is currently seeking an experienced Project Scheduler to assist, aid and advise the ITBE manager in all things related to project schedule in delivering their projects on time according to the site need date on the Hinkley Point C Project. This is a key role within our embedded team based at our Bristol office location. Hybrid working will be possible between the office and home around project commitments.
Your duties and responsibilities will be
- To comply with project controls procedures, processes, and systems to ensure that quality and consistency of data is maintained.
- Production and maintenance of complex schedules (Primavera P6 and Palladin)
- Work with the Project Manager and the Project team to establish the project activities, durations and ensure that these reflect project scope, constraints, and commitments. Challenge is necessary to ensure compatibility and compliance.
- Provide planning support to all ITBE stakeholders
- Interface with other departments regarding the project’s activities which may have an impact and ensure these are correctly captured.
- Integrate 3rd party schedules and data into the Schedule.
- Monitor the planning progress of the main contractual milestones (from Start of Contract to DTS)
- Develop, control, monitor, analyses and report on schedule related aspects
You will have the following qualifications & experience
- Previous operational experience in the field of activity
- Very good knowledge of his/her function
- Takes initiative and responsibility independently.
- Carries out complex tasks and adapts to any inherent adjustments
