The Cost Of Temporary Accommodation Is a Significant Financial Challenge For The Council. We Have Completed a Re-design Of Our Service To:

Increase our success in preventing homelessness.

End our use of hotels and shared temporary accommodation for families.

Reduce our use of and spend on Temporary Accommodation.

This New Role Creates Additional Leadership Capacity To:

Lead a team that provides oversight, quality assurance, performance reporting and insights to deliver high quality services across Housing Options continuing to embed the principles of the re-design

Provide leadership in the development, promotion and successful implementation of service development initiatives across Housing Options, which support the Council’s Homelessness Strategy.
