Are you a fully qualified HGV Fitter/Mechanic/Technician living in the Elland area looking for a workshop based role?Are you looking for a Monday to Friday, 7:30am - 4pm shift?Salary: £37,000 plus overtimeFull time, permanent positionThe role of the Workshop Mechanic:You will be working on a variety of tractor and trailer units of differing makes and models, RCV s, gritters, sweepers, ground service equipment, fleet distribution tugs, diggers etc. You will be carrying out inspections to a varied and diverse fleet and you can expect to be situated in a positive and vibrant working environment.The type of work as a Workshop Mechanic you can expect to be carrying out includes (but is not limited to) Routine (and preventative) maintenanceMOT preparationScheduled servicing to DVSA standards6 (or 8) weekly inspectionsStripping and rebuildingHydraulics and pneumatics Requirements for this Workshop Mechanic position: Ideally you will be fully qualified (City and Guilds), NVQ or equivalent.Additional accreditations such as IRTEC or an EV qualification would be desirable but not essential.
