We are looking for an EHCP Support Worker to join our secondary school team in Blackpool.This is a specialised role focused on the 1:1 delivery of Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCP). You will be the primary support for a student with complex SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) needs, ensuring they have the stability and guidance required to succeed in a mainstream setting.Key ResponsibilitiesIndividualised Support: Deliver 1:1 interventions as prescribed by the student''s EHCP targets.Pastoral Care: Act as a key mentor, helping the student navigate social transitions and manage emotional triggers.Classroom Integration: Support the student within the classroom, adapting learning materials to make the curriculum accessible.Reporting and Collaboration: Work closely with the SENCO, parents, and external agencies to monitor progress and provide feedback for annual EHCP reviews.De-escalation: Use trauma-informed strategies to manage challenging moments with a calm, professional approach.What We Are Looking ForExperience: Previous experience working with EHCPs in a secondary school, PRU, or residential care setting.Expertise: A strong understanding of SEMH, Autism (ASD), or ADHD.Resilience: The "Blackpool ..... full job details .....
