Job Role The Maintenance Technician is a key part of our North Wales team. This person will install, commission, maintain and repair a variety of Extrusion, Fibre termination Machines, associated plant and equipment to a professional standard and within prescribed times. Responsibilities for this role include: Undertake Preventive Maintenance work schedules to specified standards and procedures and maintain all relevant written records as applicable. Carry out Fault Finding and Diagnosis of machinery and equipment breakdowns, both on a mechanical and electrical basis, with a focus on providing high levels of service and response times. Undertake machinery / equipment repairs both mechanical and electrical. Maintain written records of all breakdowns and repairs allowing for analysis and compliance with ISO 9000standards. Contacting and liaising with machinery and equipment suppliers in respect of spares requirements, progress work in hand and planning of Service Engineer visits.
