Role Responsibilities Managing a varied portfolio of audit and non-audit clients, ensuring work is completed accurately, compliantly and on time.Preparing statutory accounts and associated submissions, alongside corporation tax, VAT and payroll deliverables where required.Reviewing and reconciling client records using a combination of Excel and cloud-based accounting software.Overseeing day-to-day progress of client files and audits, ensuring work meets internal standards and regulatory requirements.Acting as a trusted point of contact for clients, responding to queries professionally and proactively.Supporting, mentoring and reviewing the work of junior team members, encouraging development and consistency.Making effective use of accounting platforms such as Xero, Sage and QuickBooks to improve efficiency and client experience.
