The RoleThe Transport Manager will be responsible for managing transport operations, leading the team and ensuring full compliance across the fleet. This is hands-on role with accountability for people, vehicles and operational standards. Key ResponsibilitiesManage and lead the transport team, including recruitment, training, and performance managementOversee daily transport operations to ensure efficiency, service levels, and complianceEnsure full compliance with transport legislation, operator licence requirements, and health and safety standardsManage the commercial vehicle fleet, including servicing, MOTs, inspections, and repairsOversee pallet and cage controlManage incident reporting, investigations, and corrective actionsMonitor performance, KPIs, and continuous improvement initiatives RequirementsStrong transport management experience is essentialProven knowledge of transport compliance, legislation, and health and safetyExperience leading and managing teamsExperience within foodservice transport would be advantageousCPC qualification desirable but not essentialOrganised, proactive, and confident working in a fast-paced ..... full job details .....
