Mobile Pump EngineerLondon/M25£55,000 - £65,000Our client is seeking an experienced Commercial Pump Specialist (Mobile Engineer) to service, maintain, troubleshoot, and commission pumping systems across commercial, industrial, healthcare, education, and municipal environments across London within the M25.Key Duties: Maintain, troubleshoot, and fully refurbish commercial pumping equipment, including end-suction, in-line, split-case, vertical multistage units, booster assemblies, and sump systems. Identify and rectify mechanical and electrical issues affecting pumps, drive motors, mechanical seals, bearings, couplings, and variable speed drive (VSD/VFD) installations. Carry out condition monitoring, vibration diagnostics, operational testing, and efficiency improvements. Complete mechanical seal changes, impeller setting adjustments, laser shaft alignment, and comprehensive pump rebuilds. Assist with system commissioning, integration, and initial energisation/start-up procedures. Read and interpret engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical schematics. Deliver clear client updates, technical advice, and informed service recommendations. Ensure all tools, testing instruments, and the company vehicle are kept in safe, compliant, and professional condition.
